SCALE-USC-Sit-In-TOILET-PLOY Cory Doctorow movies opensource_movies On April 10, 2007, University of Southern California students from the SCALE anti-sweatshop group <a href="http://www.boingboing.net/2007/04/10/usc_students_defy_fr.html">staged a sit-in</a> at University President Sample's offices, protesting the office's eight-year refusal to meet with organizers to discuss labor conditions in the factories where USC licensed goods are manufactured. In this clip, a sit-in protestor tells the story of the bathroom arrangements in the president's office during the sit-in. Students had brought in kitty litter in buckets to use to relieve themselves.
